| Listen to the dialogue. |
| Kamu sedang apa? |
| Aku sedang menulis jurnalku. |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| Kamu sedang apa? |
| “What are you doing?” |
| Aku sedang menulis jurnalku. |
| “I'm writing my journal.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you doing?” |
| That's: Kamu sedang apa? |
| Listen to it again: Kamu sedang apa?, Kamu sedang apa? |
| This Indonesian sentence literally translates as “You're doing what?” |
| But it means “What are you doing?”. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| Aku sedang menulis [object]. |
| “I'm writing [object].” |
| For example: |
| “I'm writing my journal.” |
| Aku sedang menulis jurnalku., Aku sedang menulis jurnalku. |
