Let's get started.
Let's look at the dialogue.
When I read, I want you to pay attention to the place.
Find the place and see how it's used in the dialogue.
In this dialogue, Pradi and Indah are discussing where they're from.
Anda dari mana?
Saya dari Florida.
Where are you from?
I'm from Florida.
Okay, let's look at the vocabulary.

Now, let's look at the sentence pattern.
This pattern will be the structure that all of our dialogue follows.
To ask the question, you can say
Anda dari mana?
Where are you from?
To answer, you can say
Saya dari place.
I'm from place.
This pattern means you can say anything or anyone is from any place.
For example, Bunga ini dari toko.
This flower is from the store.
To ask someone who you know well,
like a close friend, or someone who is a lot younger than you,
Anda can be replaced by kamu.
