Cultural Insight
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Fira: Even if you really don't like something, it can be considered rude if you simply say "I hate it" in Indonesian. For example, it's not a good idea to say Aku benci daging sapi to mean "I hate beef." It’s better to say Aku tidak suka daging sapi, meaning "I don't like beef." Or to be more polite you can just say "I like something better." For example Aku lebih suka ayam, which means "I like chicken better."

Outro

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
Fira: Sampai jumpa lagi.
